1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site remember information on your device. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Cookies we use

OpenSourceLabs uses only what is strictly necessary to run the Service and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

Sign-in and anti-forgery cookies are required for accounts to work securely. Because they are essential, they do not require consent under most cookie laws, but we still tell you about them here. If you block them, you can browse public pages but cannot sign in.

4. Preference storage

Your theme choice is stored in local storage on your device and never sent to our servers.

5. Third-party content

Repository README files can include images hosted by third parties (for example, badge services or GitHub). When your browser loads those images, the third party may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under its own policy. External links such as GitHub and StackBlitz are governed by their own cookie policies.

6. Analytics

We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required. [Update this section if analytics are introduced.]

7. How to control cookies

  • Use your browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies and site data.
  • Signing out removes the refresh cookie immediately.
  • Clearing site data for OpenSourceLabs resets your theme preference.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
